F-18A Mystery Painted Aircraft

MyAlbumName001 This is McDonnell Douglas F/A-18A-11-MC Hornet No. 161925. Either I have been cooped up too long or my memory is just failing; but, I don’t remember why it is painted in this black and white scheme! Does anyone know? (Yes, I know that these are very poor Polaroid photos; but, it is all I have.) Please  leave a comment or email me.

Download the 6 photos that I have here or here (7 Megs)

Our ABMs painted D’skunk on it when it came to SATD in ‘86. Our CO Captain Dunlevy (sad story to the end of his life at Pax) chose to keep the Black/White paint job
