Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit 30th Anniversary

“Wednesday marked a milestone for the B-2 Spirit. On July 17th, 1989 the B-2 Spirit took off from Edwards AFB, CA for its first test flight.  Whiteman AFB is currently home to the 20 B-2 Spirits in the United States Air Force.  As we commemorate this historic achievement this week, we will be running stories from Air Force Magazine in association with Northrop Grumman as well as content from the 509th Bomb Wing Public Affairs Office.
