An interesting article from an Oct/Nov 1964 “Air Progress” article on one of the earliest example of a civilian owned military jet. As this has always been of interest, I am included several photos and color and markings that I have acquired.
McDonnell FH-1, N4283A (111769), was purchased by Progressive Aero of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for use In a jet training school along with two other FH-1's: N4282A. (111768) and the spares aircraft (111761).
