Ron - I just learned of your blog courtesy of a friend in Dallas, Michael McMurtrey. I have a special place in my heart for McDonnell aircraft - I have two fathers'-in-law (both long since dead) - the fathers of two different wives - who both worked immediately post-war in the McDonnell tool-and-die shop. I have no idea of the odds of marrying two women born in St. Louis (a town I've only been in to change planes, except for once about 35 years ago) - but who lived in Kentucky (first) and Little Rock (second) when I met and subsequently married them.
Anyway, as a long-time amateur aviation historian (though I've been on the History Channel as on-camera historian 9x), I have always been fascinated by McDonnell's bold moves into often remarkable aircraft, and I can't wait to delve into your 800 blog posts.
